This beautiful lady has been following the Tone & Sculpt app for over a year and is now taking on the challenge of the new Expert level program.

Here we get a further insight into Stephanie’s Tone & Sculpt journey so far...
Tell us a little bit about yourself Stephanie.
My name is Stephanie Pfautsch. I am 25 years old. I live in Rhode Island. I work as a full-time Recruiter and I am studying to become a certified PT and nutrition coach.
Tell us about your wellness journey so far?
My journey began 3 years ago, and it’s been 1 year of me using the app. Before I started my fitness journey, I was at my heaviest weight. I've struggled so much with my mental health and thought I wasn’t beautiful or good enough, and I had a bad relationship with food. When I started my fitness journey, it was just me creating my own workout and meal plan without any help. I’m not going to lie, I had no idea what I was doing when I started, especially before using this app! I under ate, overworked my body with intense cardio and weightlifting 5 days a week, I was obsessed with weighing myself on the scale every day, and I was struggling mentally with building confidence and love for myself. At the time I thought what I was doing was healthy and sustainable, and what was going to help me see results. When I got to the point I was eating a little under 1,000 calories a day and was super skinny, I would not only get comments from strangers, but from my family and friends expressing concern how thin and ill I looked and they were afraid I was starving myself. Instead of hoping people were happy for me for losing weight, they were scared I was losing too much and was not eating at all. At the time this honestly hurt me and I was depressed over it for such a long time. I honestly almost gave up at that point, but here I am now stronger than ever! Now looking back, I am so happy I’ve changed my eating habits and the way I workout and live each day. Here I am today 40 pounds down since I began my journey, I’ve decreased my cardio from 5 days a week to 2 days of 10 minute HIIT, I now weight train 4-5 days a week and focus on building more physical strength, I’m eating MORE than I used to and my body is thanking me so much for it. I threw away my scale and stopped relying on it, and I have developed so much more confidence, happiness and love for myself overall, not just with my appearance.
Why did you choose the Tone & Sculpt app?
I’ve always loved and looked up to Krissy! She has always been my biggest role model! When I first heard she was launching this app, I knew instantly that I had to give it a go! This app and community has taught me so much about how to live a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. It has taught me that food is not the enemy and I should not restrict any food groups out of my diet especially carbs and fats. I love how customizable the app is and how you can set it to your own needs, satisfaction and convenience! The workout guides are great for literally anybody on any level, and best of all you can perform these workouts ANYWHERE and ANYTIME! That’s how awesome and convenient it is! Overall, this is more than just a fitness app. This is what encouraged me to stay committed to chasing my goals and dreams. This is what got me to be the best version of myself physically and mentally. It not only provides all of the tools needed to guide me in my journey to do this for me, it also brought me into a community of empowering and supportive women who are all in this to help each other every step of the way! With Tone & Sculpt you are never alone and you will always have love and support from others cheering you on!
What is your favourite feature on the app?
The community forum! This is probably the only fitness app that has a feature like this and I love it so much!! I love the Tone & Sculpt girls and am super inspired by each of them every day! I love connecting with other clients and helping each other out! We’re all here to support each other and that is such a beautiful thing! This community is honestly like family to me and I’m super grateful to be part of it and to have met these girls!
Tell us what your ‘go to’ breakfast, lunch and dinner meals are from the app.
My go to breakfast is the strawberry peanut butter oatmeal and I usually add protein (I eat this every morning haha!), lunch is usually the tuna pasta bake (YUM) and dinner is usually salmon or chicken with potatoes or rice and veggies!
What are your future wellness goals?
I would have to say becoming stronger physically and mentally and to always be consistent and never lose faith in myself. I want to continue challenging and pushing myself to achieve my goals and to be even better than I am now! I want to continue practicing self love and always remind myself how beautiful and worthy I am and that I am here for a reason! I am also in the process of getting my PT and nutrition coach certification and I want to pursue my passion and help others with their own fitness journeys. I want to inspire and be a positive impact on others!
What piece of advice would you give to someone starting out in their fitness journey?
Don’t ever be afraid of failure. I know how it feels to start from 0, where you experience an overwhelming fear of failure. Your fitness journey isn’t always going to be rainbows and sunshine, and not every moment of it will be easy. In the beginning, you may stumble and it’s not going to be perfect, but remember it is not about perfection, it is about effort. This journey is all about putting in your best effort, improving yourself and building confidence along the way. Failure is what is going to motivate you to get back up and smash your goals! It is what is going to make you stronger physically and mentally! Quit listening to the voice inside your head that is holding you back from smashing your goals. Push the excuses aside and do it for you and nobody else! Learn to have the patience and discipline to show up for yourself!
What is your go to song/playlist at the gym?
The LIFT playlist by Tone & Sculpt! My go-to song at the moment is Work by Rihanna, such a classic and pumps me up in the gym!
What is your go to snack?
Greek yogurt, granola and berries! So easy and quick to make, and makes an excellent pre or post workout snack!
What motivates you?
The truth is I’m never always motivated! I have days where I don’t want to get out of bed and drive to the gym, or even do a home workout. Fitness is meant to be a lifestyle full of ups and downs, and trial and error. Once I made going to the gym a habit, I worked hard to stick with it and did my best to push away all of the excuses I had. So whether someone is tired, lazy or doesn’t want to get out of bed, if they want to reach their goals, it’s important to drop the excuses and just get it done! Once I get a workout done, I feel incredible afterwards and that is why I push myself because I know at the end of the day I’m stronger than I think I am!
What personal best has the Tone & Sculpt app helped you reach?
One of my biggest goals recently was to barbell hip thrust 200 pounds. I am happy to say I’ve just reached 210 pounds and I’m so proud I was able to go beyond my goal!
What guide do you follow on the app and why?
I follow the 5 day gym guide because it always challenges my mind and body, and I always feel super accomplished after completing a tough workout from it! I’m currently on the expert level and let me tell you something.. This level is no joke! LOL
What is your favourite motivational quote?
“Never quit. If you stumble, get back up. What happened yesterday, no longer matters. Today’s another day, so get back on track and move closer to your dreams and goals. YOU can do it!”
