    History, context and language is extremely important if we want to be wholly inclusive of the LGBTQI+ community. In the early hours of June 28th, 1969, eight New York officers of the Public Morals Department (PMD) raided the Stonewall Inn, a prominent gay bar in the New York Village district.

It is disgusting, horrific, inhumane and no person of colour should ever feel or face the inherent, systemic racism that not only permeates the American justice system and society, but our global society.
